Water deficit, economic reasons and natural environment protection regulations encourage enterprises to use the water in a more economical manner and reduce its waste. Water savings in technological processes can be attained by building closed cycles, where the same water is repeatedly reused. Using closed cycles is both significantly more ecology friendly and cheaper, then disposing of once-used water to sewage systems, rivers or seas. Cooling towers play a key role in water flow closed cycles, reducing the temperature of water heated by machines or industrial processes and allowing for it to be reused for cooling.

Design and principle of operation: The cooling towers operate as induced draught counter flow, open, wet-type cooling plants. The water is pumped and distributed by spray nozzles over fill packs where it gravitationally descends through the fill pack channels, where it meets the air pulled upwards from the bottom
